The American Lung Association is committed to funding studies that will impact lung disease treatment as well as uncover potential cures. Our research program fosters basic, clinical and behavioral research designed to find cures and prevent and relieve the suffering associated with lung disease and asthma.
- Asthma Clinical Research Centers
As part of our commitment to research, the American Lung Association has created the Asthma Clinical Research Centers Network. This nationwide research group of 20 centers, and a data coordination center, conducts large clinical trials that will have a direct impact on patient care and asthma treatment. ACRC is the largest network of its kind conducting clinical trials involving large numbers of subjects. - Nationwide Research Awards
