Get Involved

One of the easiest ways to get involved with the American Lung Association is to participate in an event. The Atlantic Coast region offers several ways for you to support our work, from volunteering to walking, climbing, biking or trekking in the event yourself. No matter how you choose to join the Lung Association's fight for healthy lungs and healthy air, know that you are making a difference in our communities.

Walks

American Lung Association Walks are fun for the whole family! By participating in the Walk and raising funds to fight lung diseases like asthma and COPD, you help people who are suffering today and keep America healthy tomorrow. Join us today in the fight for air!

Chesapeake Bay Air Ride and Roll

Chesapeake Bay Air Ride and Roll

The 23rd annual Chesapeake Bay Air Ride and Roll was a success, thanks to all of the cyclists and inline skaters! The weekend-long, pledge-based bicycle tour and inline skating event, held June 5-7, 2009, in Salisbury, MD, featured great weather and lots of excitement and energy. From the awards ceremony to the Crab Feast and karaoke, everyone had a blast! Thank you for supporting the fight for air.
